Ronald A. Nathan is a Pan-African preacher, writer, and cultural commentator exploring the intersection of theology, power, and African liberation. Through his Diary of a Pan-African Preacher, his reflections and public commentary, he interrogates empire, belief systems, and moral imagination in African public life. His work is grounded in Pan-African thought, liberation theology, and a commitment to African self-determination.
Often treated only as a political movement, Nathan argues that one of Pan Africanism’s strongholds has always been the church. Black churches and clergy not only created international networks and political organizations, but insisted that the Gospel could never be reconciled with racial oppression.
