Regional Programme Manager Africa, Middle East and Asia
The postholder will be responsible for leading and managing CIIR’s programmes in Namibia, Zimbabwe, Somalia (Somaliland), Yemen and East Timor.
The successful applicant should have:
- Minimum 3 years of significant experience of programmes management and administration in the international development field
- Minimum 2 years experience of living and working in a developing country.

The postholder will be responsible for leading and managing CIIR’s programmes in Namibia, Zimbabwe, Somalia (Somaliland), Yemen and East Timor.
The successful applicant should have:
Minimum 3 years of significant experience of programmes management and administration in the international development field
Minimum 2 years experience of living and working in a developing country
Experience of managing human resources, demonstrating the ability to set objectives and monitor and evaluate progress and outcomes

Proven skills in leadership and management, with a strong finance and administrative background, including the ability to plan effectively at the organizational level and to set realistic goals
Able to make decisions, take the initiative, originate action and be responsible for the decisions made
Excellent communication, representational and negotiation skills with the ability to manage and motivate a culturally diverse professional staff
Commitment to and sympathy with CIIR purpose vision and values
Good judgement and ability to take decisions or work within complex and challenging political environments
Excellent oral and written English
The willingness to undertake frequently travel overseas
